Gary Highland
Gary received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California Law Center. Since graduating from law school, Gary’s law practice has been focused exclusively on the representation of lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions. Before founding GoDocs, Gary was a partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, a leading global law firm, where he developed a reputation for using automation in his law practice. In 1997 he left the traditional law practice to form GoDocs and has now built GoDocs into a business that uses automation to document $2B in loans per month.
Ren received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah in 1987. Ren also graduated from the Wharton Business School’s Executive Management and Executive Leadership programs at the University of Pennsylvania. Since graduating from law school, Ren’s law practice has focused on representing lenders in commercial structured finance transactions. Over the years, Ren has represented many of the nation’s most significant national banking associations, life insurance companies, and CMBS lenders. Ren has handled transactions in all 50 states and drafted many of the loan document forms still used by his clients. Before joining GoDocs in 2019, Ren was an attorney at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, one of the largest international law firms, for more than 30 years and a senior partner in the commercial finance group.
Stephen has been the CEO of public and private software companies for the past 25 years. Steve’s strengths are scaling businesses through new technologies like AI and machine learning and building strong GTM strategies and teams. He most recently founded AI Foundry, which delivered an AI platform to automate residential mortgage processing. AI Foundry was purchased by Guaranteed Rate in 2020, and Steve was President of Guaranteed Rate’s technology subsidiary for the past year.
